1. General Terms

1.1 Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver?s license to use our car rental and van hire services.

1.2 Acceptance of Terms: By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

1.3 Amendments: United Motors Manchester reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and it is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.

2. Car Rental and Van Hire Services

2.1 Rental Agreement: All car and van rentals are subject to the terms outlined in the rental agreement provided at the time of booking.

2.2 Rental Period: The rental period begins when the vehicle is collected and ends when it is returned to our location. Late returns may incur additional charges.

2.3 Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as specified on our website.

2.4 Driver?s License: All drivers must present a valid driver?s license at the time of vehicle collection. Additional drivers must also provide their licenses and be listed on the rental agreement.

2.5 Insurance: Our vehicles are insured as required by law. Additional insurance coverage options may be available at an extra cost. Any damage not covered by insurance will be the responsibility of the renter.

2.6 Vehicle Condition: The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as it was at the start of the rental, except for normal wear and tear. Additional charges may apply for damage, excessive dirt, or missing items.

3. Vehicle Sales

3.1 Vehicle Information: We strive to provide accurate descriptions and images of vehicles for sale. However, minor discrepancies may occur, and it is the buyer?s responsibility to inspect the vehicle before purchase.

3.2 Pricing: All prices are listed in GBP and include VAT unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices without notice.

3.3 Payment and Ownership: Full payment is required before the transfer of ownership. Once payment is received, ownership of the vehicle will be transferred to the buyer.

3.4 Warranties: Vehicles sold by United Motors Manchester may come with a manufacturer?s warranty or a limited dealer warranty. The terms of any warranty will be provided at the time of sale.

3.5 Returns and Refunds: Vehicle sales are final. We do not accept returns or provide refunds unless required by law.

4. Removal Services

4.1 Booking: All removal service bookings must be confirmed in advance. The service will be provided as per the agreed date and time.

4.2 Payment: Payment for removal services must be made in full prior to the service unless otherwise agreed.

4.3 Service Scope: The scope of our removal services will be outlined in the booking confirmation. Any additional services requested on the day of the move may incur extra charges.

4.4 Liability: While we take great care in handling your belongings, United Motors Manchester is not liable for any loss or damage to items during the removal process unless caused by our negligence. We recommend obtaining insurance for valuable items.

4.5 Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may incur a cancellation fee.

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1 United Motors Manchester shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or products, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

5.2 Our liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the service or product in question, except where prohibited by law.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

7.1 These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

7.2 Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
